Minimum entry requirements

The Master of International Business required:

• An undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent.
• A minimum score of 550 in the Graduate Management Admissions Test(GMAT). - Session dates

English language requirements

• TOEFL / Minimum Score of 577 and Score of 5.0 in Test of Written English (TWE). - Session dates
• TOEFL (Computer Based) / Minimum Score 233 and Score of 5.0 on the Essay Rating. - Session dates
• TOEFL (Internet Based) / Minimum score 90 and score of 24 in Writing. - Session dates
• IELTS / Minimum score of 6.0 on all bands and a minimum overall band score of 6.5. - Session dates

These requirements do not apply to applicants from countries where English is the official language or those who have completed their previous qualifications in a University where English is the language of instruction and assessment. All other applicants must provide documentary evidence of having obtained the minimum scores required in either the American Test of English as a Foreign language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) within the previous 12 months.
The Selection Committee may conduct interviews and tests and may call for referee reports or employer references to elucidate any of the matters referred to above.

The Master International Business is an ESG's brand two years programs taught entirely in English and provides the possibility to learn French at the same time.

No prior knowledge of French is required to attend the program. The degree provides an opportunity to acquire contemporary knowledge and skills in core business disciplines taking an international focus. The objective of the MIB is to educate managers in order to make them capable of developing and controlling the international activities of corporations and companies.

The strong international emphasis of the MIB allows students to develop the ability to adapt easily to different countries and cultures as well as increase their knowledge in several languages. The 6 months internship between the 1st and 2nd year of the MIB creates a strong link with the professional world.

The first semester takes place in Paris, with core courses in the fields of Business and Management. The second semester will take place abroad, in one of ESG's partner institutions. Over 90 partner institutions all over the world provide a large and diversified choice according to the professional plans of the student. The language of instruction abroad is mostly English, but students can, if they have a sufficient knowledge of another language, apply as well for a program in Spanish, German, Italian, Russian or Portuguese. After completion of the semester abroad students have to complete a 6 months internship (either abroad or in France). Students will then do a fifth year at ESG or abroad (in the US or Australia) within a dual degree program.
